Seven Reasons to be Cheerful

It has been hard to find the positives in the last 8 months. The events industry worldwide ground to an almost full stop and governmental support for the sector has been slow in materialising … but we have weathered worse storms and it is great to now see the light at the end of the lockdown tunnel. Our summer has seen us busy with both live and digital preparations, designing experiential space for both virtual venues and live 2021 shows with brands such as Airbus, Disney and Rolls-Royce.

What has been so rewarding is how clients, creative and digital are now working so closely together to prepare for this hybrid future and find cost-effective agile solutions to what is an every changing problem: how to engage target audiences and create a emotional connection. Its a long road back and we all know there will be a new normal, but we welcome the start of the journey and feel thankful to be busy again creating digital events on our EventHive VX platform for the autumn and winter markets.

We also have reason to be cheerful in the shape of seven rather lovely award nominations. The Event Tech Awards graced us with a staggering four nominations in areas that are key for us as a hybrid agency – one part digital and one part creative: Best Immersive Experience, Best Hybrid Event and Best Use of Tech at a Branded Event for our work at Airbus.

We were also overwhelmed to receive a nomination from the Event Tech Awards for the Best Use of Tech for Engagement & Interaction for our work with Rolls-Royce.

 

The C&IT Awards 2020 also honored us with a further three nominations; Best Brand Amplification again for our work with Airbus and Best Use of Event Technology for our partnership with event organiser Reed Midem in the development and implementation of OrganizerHive to run their Cannes Markets MIPCOM etc.

We are also nominated for their creme de la creme award: Global Agency of the Year which is a huge testament to all the hard work the team has put in through these testing last 12 months. Tune in to the C&IT digital awards on the 24th September; aptly our founder’s birthday, to find out how we do.
