Following the successful signing of the show by ABC to be televised later in the year, Entertainment One wanted the Beverley Hills media event to be the perfect opportunity to showcase the pilot episode in front of 600 international buyers in town for the festival.
We rolled out the blue carpet for the LAPD themed experience, with police cars, and their officers, ready to greet guests into the immersive screening event. Inside the venue, graphics, photo opportunities, police tape and talent areas escorted attendees through to a drinks reception ready for the screening, followed by the talent Q&A.
After the screening a cocktail party waited for guests under the LA sun. Full catering was offered by the mock food trucks whilst guests enjoyed the Step & Repeat photo opportunity and exclusive interviews with the show talent.
Over 600 media industry guests enjoyed the immersive experience, with The Rookie widely considered the break out hit of the festival.
