With over 140,000 industry professionals and 3,500 journalists in attendance at this years’ Paris 54th air show, aviation giants such as UTC and Collins Aerospace knew the experience of each delegate would be of upmost importance in creating the right lasting impression.

Collins Aerospace has used EventHive for many years to assist management of their global show programme and the software was an obvious choice for UTC when they looked for a new ‘combined’ solution to more effectively manage their busy chalet reception.

As a focal point for all delegates visiting UTC, Collins Aerospace and Pratt & Whitney, their reception was a hive of activity that needed efficient and strong management to create the right impression. EventHive provided them with the real-time integrated solution they needed to be able to do this.

EventHive also assisted all three organisations with their separate ‘events,’ providing full effective management of meetings plus, utilising the flexible tailoring aspects of EventHive, individual requirements and internal processes. Understanding the importance of data, EventHive pulled these separate events into a single view dashboard; a ‘global’ overview of all activities taking place within the chalet, at offsite locations, as well as detailed travel schedules for people travelling to and from the show.

To understand this in real terms, during PAS’ 19 EventHive managed almost 1,000 meetings for 2,000 visiting delegates over 14 Meeting Rooms, 8 Meeting Tables, 12 Lunch Tables & 10 Golf Carts. Ensuring a meaningful experience was had for all; delegate, press and client. 

EventHive not only streamlined meeting schedules but also provided clients with clear sales information data to support their business objectives. Capabilities included adapting the team’s live meeting schedules, real-time data capture and reporting, and the ability to build quantifiable ROI statistics to support future planning. Calculating return on investment was of utmost importance with clients utilising the data captured to create insightful post-show reports that illustrated time spent on new business generation, programme updates, meet & greet etc.

To further support this, EventHive also captured the opportunity values of these meetings and quantified it. The 9 digit figure calculated illustrated the effectiveness of attending PAS ’19, plus provided clients with data to work on for future improvement.
